The founder is Nicholl Gordon FCA who has spoken at British Medical Association seminars throughout the country and has articles published in various Medical Publications and Newspapers, including Medeconomics and Pulse together with the Veterinary Times. His father was for many years a GP in a Group Practice in Rochdale.

With his background, Nicholl Gordon is conscious that clients need financial advisors that "Speak the same language". As a consequence, the firm gives advice on areas not normally covered by general accountants. Such areas cover Hospital Consultants charges, items of service and target payments for Family Practitioners, the purchase of added years, the cost of goodwill for dental and veterinary practices, cost rent etc.

With offices in Leeds and Rochdale, the firm is unusual in that it acts exclusively for Doctors, Dentists and Vets. Small in size we pride ourselves in giving a personal professional service. When a client joins the practice two people as well as a partner are assigned to that client - an Accountancy Manager and a Tax Manager. The aim being to ensure clients receive a timely service and for clients to know who is dealing with their affairs. It is our belief that "small is beautiful".

We have had a great deal of success in obtaining tax refunds for new clients. We obviously cannot guarantee all new clients a refund! However, our degree of specialisation is the main reason for these refunds.
